Intersections: Family Day with Alison Aune & Wendy Savage
Bring the family and join Alison Aune and Wendy Savage, both seasoned art educators, at the Tweed Museum of Art to participate in the first Family Day developed in conjunction with Intersections, an exhibition of contemporary Native art by Minnesota-based artists.
Families will be able to participate in a variety of art activities throughout the museum, which are all based on works by artists on display in the exhibition. For example, participants may be interested in creating recycled toy sculptures, practice quill straw weaving, create a watercolor, and more. We'll update the Facebook events page as we get more details about the activities.
Light refreshments will be served after the event.
Free and open to the public.
We will offer another Family Day on July 13, 2019. Save the date!
