At the October Duluth 101, Duluth's Bob King—aka Astro Bob!—will reflect on a lifetime of being outside at night and the value of darkness. He'll also discuss how we can preserve the night sky — the last great wilderness—and share information about an exciting upcoming sky event.

About our Presenter:
Bob King fell in love with the night sky and astronomy when he was a kid and loves to share his passion with people of all ages. Bob writes for Sky & Telescope's website and magazine, teaches community education astronomy and pens the Astro Bob blog for the Duluth News Tribune. He also shares observing tips on local radio stations. His latest book, Magnificent Aurora, is a comprehensive guide to the northern and southern lights.
