Lately, every website that isn't Wikipedia feels like an ad-covered Saw trap designed by the guys who invented concert ticket fees. Between multi-national corn-syrup peddlers, AI snakeoil salesbots, and fast fashion influencers, it feels like everyone on earth is trying to pay someone else for real estate in your one precious human brain. Why not shove some goofy poetry in there instead?

Henry Kneiszel spent 2025 writing an entire book’s worth of new poetry. This showcase is your opportunity to hear it before it becomes available anywhere in print. Some of it is about enshitification, some of it is about where you can still find refuge. All of it will be brought to life by two of Duluth’s most powerful audio/visual wizards: Kenneth G and Nocturnal Groaner. Join us at studio cafe on February 28th at 6pm to download the most recent update to your COSMIC ADBLOCK 

Henry Kneiszel is a fiscal year 2025 recipient of a Creative Individuals grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund
