This year, we are honored to welcome Sydney Hansen and Jake Birdseye to our Fourth of July celebration. 

We are looking forward to seeing everyone. 

Please remember, these artists are performing solely based on the tips collected during each session, so we encourage everyone to show their appreciation and support for the musicians.

We also ask that everyone help keep our beach beautiful by taking out what you bring in and being respectful of those around you. Thank you for helping us create a fun, safe, and enjoyable celebration for everyone!

Sydney Hansen

A Duluth, Minnesota native and Nashville-based recording artist whose sultry vocals and emotionally driven songwriting are quickly positioning her as a standout emerging voice in modern country music.

She began writing original songs at just thirteen years old, drawing from real-life experiences of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery to craft honest and resonant storytelling. Her sound blends country and Southern rock, marked by warmth, grit, and melodic instinct.

After building momentum across the Upper Midwest, Hansen relocated to Nashville following the release of her single “Somebody’s Nobody.” She is now a Belmont University student, full-time singer-songwriter, and collaborator with legendary producer Kent Wells.

Her single “You or The Whiskey” achieved notable chart success as the #2 charting independent artist and earned multiple Josie Music Award nominations. In December 2025, Hansen signed with Get Joe Records for both a record deal and management contract. She is currently working on her latest EP, Business Is Good, set for release in early summer, while continuing to tour and build national buzz.

Jake Birdseye

A third-generation truck driver, Army veteran, and self-taught guitar player, Jake Birdseye brings audiences on a musical journey through his life experiences. From driving truck over the road to love, heartbreak, family, and a drinkin’ song or two, his storytelling lyrics and timeless melodies create a traditional country sound with a style all his own.

In his short career, Jake has already shared the stage with some of country music’s biggest names, including Alabama, Tyler Farr, Joe Nichols, Justin Moore, and Jo Dee Messina.

Born in the northern harbor town of Duluth, Minnesota, Jake picked up his first guitar at just ten years old. A self-taught musician, he learned by ear while listening to his dad’s old cassette tapes on repeat. Although he played guitar for years, he did not begin writing or performing until later in life.

Now, nearly seven years after his first official gig and with more than 700 shows under his belt, Jake continues to perform throughout the region and build a strong following. His debut single, “Down The Road,” was released in 2022 shortly after his first Nashville performance. The song blends life as a truck driver with heartbreak as he navigates the question of whether to stay or leave.

His most recent hit, “Ol’ JD,” is an upbeat honky-tonk tune filled with classic steel guitar riffs, a catchy melody, and the all-too-familiar love-hate relationship with good ol’ whiskey.

With new music on the horizon, 2026 is shaping up to be Jake’s biggest year yet as he and his band perform at larger fairs and festivals throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin while opening for some of country music’s most iconic artists.

Even with his growing fan base, Jake remains true to his roots both on and off stage. When he is not performing, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, snowmobiling, and golfing.
