Kendall Lujan: Live at the Balch

Portland-based returns to the Balch with her blend of moody folk, indie rock, and jazz‑inflected ballads. Her genre‑fluid sound is anchored by a strong voice and wide stylistic range. Since her last visit, Kendall was named one of Willamette Week’s Best New Bands of 2024, earned recognition from NPR’s Tiny Desk and the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, and released her debut full‑length album Lucky Penny.

About the Balch Hotel: Tucked away in the foothills of Mt. Hood where the Columbia Gorge meets Oregon's High Desert, the Balch is a 20-room landmark inn and event venue built in 1907, just south of The Dalles in the little town of Dufur. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the inn offers historic charm with modern comforts. Guests enjoy a day spa and on-site restaurant, Bistro 1907, which showcases local ingredients and wines grown in the Gorge.
