The Caffe Grande Slam ft. Holly Winter-Hughes

Hello and welcome to another Caffe Grande Slam!!!

As usual we have room for up to 12 poets to battle out with 3minute slots. The winner gets our fabulous prize and a chance to have a 10min showcase the following month.

Great food and drink will be available to purchase at The Albionn Cafe.

As mentioned, we will have our winner from last month giving us 10minutes of their best.

And our headliner this month will be:

Holly Winter-Hughes is a poet, facilitator and researcher exploring how writing expresses the stories we hold in our bodies. Founder and CEO of The Word Association CIC, she supports underrepresented voices. A doctoral student at the University of Birmingham, her debut collection How to Leave a Body was published by Verve in 2025.
