Low Sensory Morning

The National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium welcomes anyone who may benefit from a sensory-friendly environment to a series of Low Sensory Mornings.

Across campus at both the Mississippi River Center and the National River Center, the Museum will have limited extra and ambient sounds, no distracting exhibit motions, and KultureCity sensory bags available for checkout at the box offices. All of the River Museum’s animals and exhibits will be available for viewing by attendees.

This program is supported, in part, by the Cultural Leadership Programs within the Iowa Arts Council, part of the Iowa Economic Development Authority, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
