The Trinity SMF is running its second student-run female leadership conference in the Trinity Dining Hall – ‘Working with the Future’.
This event welcomes ALL students at Trinity regardless of year, gender or course. Our aim is to promote and demonstrate how progressive both the University and our country are in terms of gender diversity in the workplace. The success from the inaugural conference last year is evident through female participation in the fund growing from 33% to an all-time high of 41%.
The objective of the evening is to provide an insight for all students into the challenges facing women in the business world today and the various ways in which they have been overcome. It will allow them to see the business world through the eyes of recognized leaders in society, giving students the confidence to reach their potential.
The opening address will be by Susan O'Flynn, Global Head of CCP Strategy, Governance and Optimization at Morgan Stanley. This will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Economist and Author, David McWilliams and a wine and canapés reception.
-Sorcha Mckenna (Partner and head of Dublin office, McKinsey)
-Marisa Drew (Head of Impact Advisory and Finance, Credit Suisse)
-Alan Duffy (CEO HSBC Ireland)
-Sinead McSweeney (Managing Director & Irish Head, Twitter)
The event is co-sponsored by Davy Group and McKinsey & Company. This conference will bring together business leaders, Trinity alumni and students to network and gain exposure to successful business people.
