Wellbeing for older people and their carers
Being physically active can have a positive effect on our health and wellbeing at any age. Both carer and care recipient can benefit from simple changes in routine that introduce physical activity choices. Such changes can also improve the quality of the time spent together.
Age Action has been part of an EU project (WHOLE) which was made up of experts in the field from Germany, Austria, Greece, Bulgaria and Israel who set about creating an e-learning platform to introduce physical activity and healthy nutrition into the daily routine of carers and care recipients.
