For the first class in our 2026 series of events, you’ll learn to paint  one of the works currently on display in our exhibition, Turner as Inspiration - A Ship against the Mewstone, at the Entrance to Plymouth Sound by Joseph Mallord William Turner.

No experience is necessary - an artist-facilitator will be on hand to guide you. All you need to bring is your imagination, and we’ll provide everything else! 

Ticket price includes a canvas for your creation, use of all equipment and materials, plus a glass of prosecco or a soft drink. There's also an option to purchase a Gallery tote bag in which to carry your work home.

This event is strictly over 18s.

We will be photographing the event; please let one of the organisers know if you do not wish to be photographed.
