Phil MacMullan- drumsAbout this EventPatrice Brun is a French saxophonist, established in Ireland since the late 90’s, and has been an active member of the jazz scene since the early 2000’s, leading his own groups, quartet and sextet formats. After a few years of absence, Patrice is returning to bring us a new jazz quintet featuring longstanding jazz musicians Ray Martin, Greg Lloyd (AUS), Phil MacMullan, and newcomer Diarmuid Lally. Together, they will perform a mix of original compositions and some classic jazz standards of the 50’s and 60’s, from musicians/composers such as Joe Henderson, Freddie Hubbard and Clare Fisher.
