Be One Inspire One is back!
Whether you are at the peak of your career or just starting out, we invite you to join us for a morning of mingling, motivation and mentorship over a delicious breakfast including Bucks Fizz or a Virgin Bellini . Orna Mulcahy of the Irish Times will host a panel of inspirational women from a cross section of industries who will share the driving forces behind their success and the advice they would give to others.
Each attendee will leave with a luxury goodie bag, and there will be plenty of competitions on the day, including the opportunity to win a one-on-one mentoring session with the panelist of your choice.

Claudia Carroll – Author and Actress
Claudia was born in Dublin, where she still lives and works as a theatre and TV actress, playing the recurring role of Nicola in Fair City. She’s also a Sunday Times top ten-bestselling author in the UK and a number one bestselling author in Ireland.
Her new book, Our Little Secret is out now, published by Avon, (HarperCollins) and her fifteenth novel, SECRETS OF PRIMROSE SQUARE, will be published in hardback in the UK and Ireland later in Summer of this year.
To date, Claudia has published fourteen novels, four of which have been optioned, two for movies and two for TV. She’s currently hassling producers for a walk-on role, and is hoping they might even let her keep the costumes for free.
Alison Cowzer - MD, The Company of Food and Co-Founder of East Coast Bakehouse
Alison Cowzer is co-founder of East Coast Bakehouse - a new large scale food manufacturing business based in Drogheda Co Louth, producing a range of cookies and biscuits for the Irish, UK and European markets.
As an investor and Dragon, on RTE’s Dragon’s Den series, she has made investments in a number of start-up enterprises. A co-founder of The Company of Food, Alison also works with small group of High Growth Potential Irish Food SME's. Alison is also a Director of Elivar, a high potential Irish start up focused on the sports nutrition market.Alison also spends some of her time on marketing, branding and strategy projects with a number of NGO's: she is passionate about increasing the number of women in politics in Ireland (currently at only 22% in Dail Eireann), and is Chair of Women for Election, a non-partisan organisation that provides training, mentoring and support to women interested in getting involved in political life.She is a member of the Board of GOAL and a director of the Ronald Mc Donald House Charity.
Sarah Keane – President of the Olympic Council of Ireland
Sarah is the first Chief Executive Officer of Swim Ireland - the National Governing Body for Swimming, Water Polo, Diving and associated Aquatic Disciplines on the island of Ireland. She has held this position for over ten years.Sarah was elected (February 2017) as the first female President of the Olympic Council of Ireland. She was first elected to the Board of the Olympic Council of Ireland in 2014. Sarah represented Ireland at the European Olympic Council’s Women in Sport & Leadership Talent Event in Poland in April 2015.Sarah is a qualified solicitor and is a Matheson Alumni having worked with Matheson Solicitors, a leading Irish law firm, prior to taking up her CEO position with Swim Ireland.Her qualifications include an Honours Degree in Law, a Masters in Commercial Law and Diplomas in both Corporate Management and Financial Management. Sarah graduated from the Common Purpose Leadership Programme in 2015 and achieved her Diploma in Company Direction/Governance from the Institute of Directors in 2016.Sarah is also a member of the Board of Ireland Active (an umbrella body for many organisations involved in the leisure and fitness industry in Ireland). She is a former member of both the Board of the Federation of Irish Sport (the umbrella body for sporting organisations in Ireland) and the Irish Sport Anti-Doping Disciplinary Panel.
Oonagh O’Hagan – MD and owner, Meaghers Ph*rm*cy
Oonagh O’ Hagan is a pharmacist by profession and is also the owner and Managing Director of the Meagher’s Ph*rm*cy Group here in Dublin together with the thriving online store meaghers.ie
Meagher’s has won countless awards within the world of Ph*rm*cy and has just been named as one of Irelands “Gold Standard” companies in the Deloitte Best Managed Companies awards.
Oonagh is passionate about retail and about bringing the most current and innovative healthcare and beauty products to her customers. She is an outgoing chairwoman and current board member of Retail Excellence Ireland, Ireland’s largest Retail body.
Keen to reposition the role of the pharmacist in the Irish Healthcare system, Oonagh also holds board positions at the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland and at the School of Ph*rm*cy, Trinity College Dublin as well as positions on the Wholesale Committee at United Drug Group PLC and on the Finance committee at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
Oonagh is most energised when working with other business owners and as such is a Volunteer Lead Entrepreneur on the Going For Growth programme which supports Irish female entrepreneurs achieve their goals and grow their businesses.
