Study Morning: FW Burton - A Life Defined by Art

At this study morning in association with our exhibition ' Frederic William Burton: For the Love of Art' the panel of distinguished speakers will uncover fascinating aspects of Burton’s career. Sir Frederic William Burton’s extraordinary life saw him emerge as one of the most significant Irish cultural figures of the nineteenth century. His artistic career in Ireland, Germany and England encompassed over forty years (1832-1874), while his professional career, defined by his role as director of the National Gallery, London, spanned twenty years (1874-1894).

Tickets for the study morning cost €20 (€15 concession) and are available online.
