Safe Pass Training Thursday 25/07/19 (English Language)
It is a legal requirement under “Section 4 of the Construction Regulations 2006” That all staff working on construction sites or any works that qualify as construction projects must complete a Safe Pass Training course.
Safe Pass Course Objectives:
Safe Pass Course participants will have a greater understanding of the hazards associated with working on sites and how accidents can be avoided.

Health & Safety at work legislation
Health & Safety duties and responsibilities at work
Accident Prevention and accident reporting
Promoting a Safety Culture
Working at heights
Excavations, confined spaces, underground and overhead services
Working with Electricity
Personal Protective Equipment
Use of hand-held equipment, tools & machinery
Safe use of Vehicles
Noise & Vibrations
Health & Hygiene
Special Instructions For This Course:
This Safe Pass Course Dublin is delivered in the English language and a good understanding of English is expected from participants. (Courses can be run in other languages by prior arrangement if all participants speak the same language). The instructor may assess the participants level of English through verbal and written communication and could refuse entry if the person attending does not demonstrate sufficient understanding of English. The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 require that safety training is delivered in a language that is understood by participants. If an accident occurred on site, then there could be serious repercussions for the employer and the trainer if a non-English speaking participant completed the English speaking course.
There is a written examination at the end of this course which all participants must complete in order to successfully pass the course.
Participants must bring their PPS number on the day and a recent passport photograph. If you do not have a PPS number you will be refused entry and will not receive a refund as you will have taken up the space of another customer.
