For Dublin City Council's Cruinniú na nÓg Dublin, Collaborative Arts Partnership Programme and The LAB Gallery are hosting a public "play-in" at Liberty Park. Bring the family and friends along and create Live Art together.
PLAYING UP is a dynamic, interactive workshop for all ages. Make clothes out of food, lie on top of cars, dance with animals, remote control your parents, invent your own Live Art form of sports, search for miracles, invent an alter ego of the opposite gender, make teddy bears fly, deconstruct electrical devices, and build what-happens-next-machines!
PLAYING UP – taking the form of a game played by adults and kids together – is an artwork by Sibylle Peters, produced in a collaboration between Live Art Development Agency - LADA, Theatre of Research and Tate Families & Early Years, exploring the potential of Live Art to bridge generations. Drawing on key Live Art themes and seminal works, PLAYING UP is a dynamic, interactive workshop for all ages. For a completely fresh and very exciting approach to this area of artistic practice, bring the family and friends to Liberty Park and create Live Art together. Part of Dublin City Council's Cruinniu na nOg Dublin - Dublin's Culture Connects, funded by Creative Ireland and RTÉ
