This in-person event is supported by the Office of the Ombudsman for Children and is designed to bring together young carers from across the country to share their experiences, raise their voice, hear from research professionals, and connect with peers facing similar challenges.Young Carers are people under 25 who live with a family member at home, who has a disability, illness, long term injury, mental health challenge including addiction and Trauma. They are often not the primary carer but do offer support in various ways, that impacts their own life experience.Don't miss this unique opportunity to engage in an event that is hosted BY Young Carers FOR Young Carers, and is open to the people involved in their lives such as school staff, youthworkers, health and social care providers etc. This exciting event is funded by the Erasmus+ Youth Participation Action, and will offer a supportive community space dedicated to supporting Young Carers in their role as Active Citizens and in working with them to drive positive change through participatory democracy.Save the date and stay tuned for more details!
