Hello Kinoites and filmmakers everywhere!

Date: 24th/25th of February (Saturday/Sunday).
Location: Our “Kino Lab” will be Mart gallery in Rathmines, Dublin (www.mart.ie
). The lab serves as a space where we can regroup after filming, edit or brainstorm new ideas.
Doors open at 8m and the pitching session will start at 10am. After the pitching, people will form teams and shoot/edit their short films or documentaries over the weekend.
The films will then be screened on Sunday from 8pm to 10pm in Mart Gallery.

Kino is a film making movement that encourages the production of short-films on little to no budget, using small crews and non-competitive collaboration. There are Kino Groups around the world, divided into individual cells including KinoD here in Dublin.
People involved in all aspects of film production come together, pooling their skills and resources, and try to make as many films as humanly possible! ☺
The event is open to professionals and amateurs alike.
So whether you have a story you’d like to tell, are interested in directing, acting, shooting, editing, recording sound, composing music, making up ...or you just would like to get involved, this is the right place for you.
We will post updates on our Facebook page but also feel free to privately message us.
KinoD- make films, not excuses!
