A journey to peace and freedom through the Four Noble Truths of the Buddha
“There is suffering. There is a cause of suffering. There is an end to suffering. And there is a path to end suffering.”
Discover Buddha’s Four Noble Truths—timeless wisdom to transform suffering into peace, clarity, and emotional well-being. Through guided meditations and reflective exercises, you’ll gain deeper insight into your mind and cultivate inner calm. Group discussions will help you strengthen resilience and prepare for life’s challenges. Whether you’re new to Buddhism or simply seeking more peace in your daily life, this course offers a clear, supportive path to lasting peace of mind.
For over 2,500 years, the Buddha’s Four Noble Truths have offered a clear path out of suffering and into peace. In this 10-week course, you’ll explore these profound teachings in depth — understand the nature of suffering, its causes, and the way to liberation.
The teachings, meditation and contemplations from this authentic tradition reveal how each of us can live a more meaningful, connected and fulfilling life.
Join us as we on our experiential journey of insight and reflection. Suitable for people of any religion or of none, this course encourages us to reflect on the Buddhist teachings, to see what makes sense to us and to experiment with applying these teachings in our daily lives.
We will introduce you to:
- We will look deeply into the First Noble Truth, not to dwell in pain, but to understand it. We will see the causes of unrest in the mind and heart. We will glimpse the possibility of peace, here and now.And we will investigate the Way — the Noble Eightfold Path — as it was taught for the ending of suffering.
- Through meditation, mindful living, and compassionate inquiry, these teachings will meet the struggles of modern life: quieting anxiety, softening grief, and opening the door to clarity and joy.
Led by instructors with many years of experience of these teachings, each session consists of:
- An exposition of the teachings of the Buddha as they apply to everyday life
- Meditation practice
- Time for contemplation
- Group discussions and Q&A, offering you the opportunity to explore the teachings and practices in an open supportive environment
