We are planning the most positive hike of the season, which aims to clear your head and stretch your legs in good company. We will honor the scariest witch with a round dance and glue mustaches to those who arrive dressed neatly. People in matching costumes will receive twice more sweets, which we might steal from people who come without costumes!⏰ When: Sunday, November 2nd at 10:20 AM?Where: By the Brady's Shankill pub https://maps.app.goo.gl/eU9Ky1cwgJ6HLFHU8?g_st=awℹ️ Route: a walk through Rathmichael wood with the stops at The Ruth (Ring Fort) and Rathmichael church ruins, then we head to Carrickgollogan wood and make a stop at the old mine and tower with steps (Ballycorus Chimney, Lead mine) with a view of the entire Dublin Bay.? We'll light a fire in a vat and roast some marshmallows after our decent from the mountains.Details:The hike will take 4-5 hours, it all depends on the pace of walking of the group members. The distance is no more than 10 km, total elevation gain 200 m. On the way there are forest and stone paths with cobblestones, scrambling uphill and asphalt, depending on the weather the day before and on the day of the hike, it can be quite dirty in places, wear comfortable shoes, sneakers, take water, a snack and a raincoat. Please do not wear costumes that will not allow you to walk long distances comfortably.? !!!! We are raising funds for our 35th ambulance! All proceeds go to the purchase of medical evacuation transport for the frontline cities in Ukraine. Ukrainian Action is a registered charity (RCN 20206588)
