"My mission is to empower anyone who struggles to find self-love and acceptance by offering them an alternative perspective by which they may come to know themselves."
This class is for those who suffer from anxiety or depression, for people who are a bit too hard on themselves, or for people who simply find it difficult to calm the mind. If you enjoy the bliss of Savasana more than any other part of a yoga class, then this is the class for you. The workshop will include: Breathwork, simple stretches, yoga asanas, a guided meditation, music, a small amount of Mindfulness, and at least 30 minutes of savasana. This class is not tied to any style of traditional yoga (Vinyasa, Ashtanga, etc.) as its focus is on conscious unity.
We will explore slow, classical, and non-classical asanas culminating in a guided meditation while in Savasana - Suitable for first timers, older adults, beginner & veteran yogis alike. The focus will be on relaxation and finding self-acceptance and self-love.
Although the workshop may challenge for some physically, for most this workshop will be a less intense form of yoga.
More about Mark:
I been a student of non-dual philosophy, psychology and mysticism for over 15 years. After absorbing all the Eckhart Tolle, Adyashanti, Krishnamurti, Alan Watts, Rupert Spira etc. that I could during that period of time I realised that my conceptual understanding of non-duality could only ever reveal a minute part of the puzzle that life appeared to be. Over the past 5 years phenomenology has been my focus - learning through experience rather than through concepts. That focus brought me to meditation and the practice of yogic techniques about 4 years ago.
Since then, my life has taken a dramatic shift and I have become a qualified yoga instructor while finishing my psychology degree in UCD.
