The event is organised by Dublin North Bay Heritage to promote the very historical North Bay Area with the long term aim of realising a Heritage Centre. The Summer School has a history of stimulating speakers on interesting and engaging subjects and this year is no different.On the opening evening, June 12th, at 7:15pm, the Palestinian Ambassador to Ireland, Dr, Jilan Wahby Abdalmajidwill present a general paper concerning Palestine.The Summer School incorporates the previous Bram Stoker/Dracula Summer School and on Saturday, June 13th at 11am, Dr. Dara Downey - University lecturerin literature and film will deliver the Bram stoker memorial lecture entitled "The Famous Dracula Films and Famous Actors".This year marks the 150th anniversary of the Incorporated Orthopedic Hospital of Ireland (now Clontarf Hospital) on Castle Avenue, Clontarf.
