Dublin City Council wishes to invite you to the launch event of the next edition of the Dublin Economic Monitor.
The Dublin Economic Monitor is a joint initiative of the four Dublin Local Authorities which monitors and tracks Dublin's economic performance to provide insightful data and articles on a quarterly basis. This edition will focus on the future of retail.
Dublin economic insights and trends will be highlighted by economists from EY-DKM and DCC with retail specific trends highlighted and discussed by Retail Excellence CEO, David Fitzsimons and a panel of retail and industry experts. Finally building on the pre-existing collaboration between Dublin City Council and Mastercard on the Dublin Mastercard Spending Pulse, a new additional retail spend GEO mapping feature will be launched and previewed at the event. Co-ordinated by Dublin City Council, the Monitor represents a further example of the continued cooperation of the Dublin Region Local Authorities (Dublin City Council, South Dublin County Council, Fingal County Council & Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council) in the areas of economic development and the promotion of Dublin as a place to live, work, visit and invest. The Monitor is of particular interest to those doing business in Dublin or considering locating here and to individuals, companies, students and researchers seeking reliable and accurate economic data and information for Dublin.
