Get in shape and make new friends at the 4th annual Coffman XC camp!About this EventThe third annual Dublin Coffman Cross Country Camp will be hosted by the Dublin Coffman XC team, coaches, and boosters.WHO: Any incoming 4th through 8th grader (boys or girls!) interested in running, cross country, or just looking to get in shape for the fall!- Those who are planning on competing in middle school cross country this year.- Those who are planning on competing in middle school cross country in the future.- Those who are training for a local 5k or other race.- Those who are looking to get into shape for their fall sport or other reason.- Those who just want to see if they might like running, and want to learn more about the sport, as well as have the opportunity for fun and socialization and a positive experience around working out! Our main focus is on developing a FUN and POSITIVE relationship with running.WHAT: A four day running camp filled with:-Running, training, and nutrition advice from the Coffman cross country runners and coaches-Runs of various intensities/lengths depending on skill/age/experience and goals-Fun games and competitions including prizes-Bonding and friendships being made, while learning what Coffman XC is all about-Daily snacks-A fun race to end the weekWHERE: We will meet at Dublin Coffman HS, outside the stadium each day.WHEN: Monday, July 20th through Thursday, July 23rd from 9:00 AM until 11:30 AM each day. (Contingency date on Friday, July 24th in case of a weather related cancellation earlier in the week)COST: $90 for the weekThe entry fee will go to providing all campers with:- A Coffman camp t-shirt- Post-workout snacks and drinks, games, and prizes- The end of week raceQuestions?!
