At Creation Aerial
|CONTEMPORARY dance meets AERIAL Dance|
Le Dance! Explore nuance and variety of movement in the air, learning how and when to use our legs, arms, feet, hands and head more expressively.
The workshops are 2 hrs duration. The first 75mins will be dedicated to learning choreography on the ground, exploring dynamic and detailed movements which in the latter part of the workshop can be explored with the aerial apparatus.
Special attention will be given to possibilities of the feet, legs and hands once coming away from the floor and negotiating the creative movement possibilities (floating, tapping, rotating, broken and angular shapes) with the more functional movement required by aerial (hanging/ standing/ holding)
A wonderful creative opportunity for aerial students to developing movement quality awareness and for dancers interested in exploring aerial apparatus in movement.
