Fascia is the connective tissue that binds and links all the muscles of the body, and allows them to work together.
Injury or bad habits can limit the fluidity of this system, causing tension, stress and loss of functional movement. In this workshop we will cover some of the techniques of myofascial release, working to alleviate tension, hydrate the muscles and improve mobility.
After a quick flow, we will go through a full body myofascial release, using props to work deeper into the major areas of the body. Myofasical release has a powerful affect on both the body and the mind, so we will finish with a relaxing guided meditation.
Suitable for all levels, particularly anyone suffering from a specific area of tension. These techniques are a perfect compliment to your yoga practice.
