A time of rest, reflection, and warm peaceful presence.This cosy, small-group, 2-hour workshop will meld gentle spaceholding with the cutting edge science of conscious connected breathwork to help you rest a while in the hustle and bustle of the season.The PracticeThe workshop will begin with some physical embodiment through very gentle movement accessible to all. We will open the space, explore how we're feeling and what we'd like to achieve, then drop in with a guided meditation practice. Settled, we'll progress into our conscious connected breathwork journey, followed by a visualisation meditation and integration to close the space.The Space:The Breathing Space Cork Street is a fully equipped yoga and pilates studio in the heart of Dublin's Liberties. An Oasis of calm and stillness in the bustling city, it will provide a space for us to, stop, rest, and stay a while.The FacilitatorBecca Anderson runs Sua Breathwork. A qualified conscious connected breathwork facilitator she also holds a PhD in Developmental Neuroscience. A storyteller and connector she aims to bring conscious connected breathing to both the seekers and the skeptics through science, storytelling, physical embodiment, and a compassionate disruption of the norms for both groups.Important, please read:Conscious connected breathwork is a form of high ventilation breathwork and has a number of contraindications. It is not suitable for:People with a history of cardiac conditions or current uncontrolled high blood pressurePeople with a history of psychiatric conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar, or severe PTSDPeople with a history of eye conditions like glaucoma or retinal detatchmentPeople with a history of seziures or epilepsyPregnant peopleNOTE: Participants will be asked to complete a waiver before the practice. You can complete the intake form here:  https://forms.gle/sHAaLknaWFveU9SDA when registering, or later when I send it to you.  Registrants who have not completed the waiver will be asked to do so on the day. Participation is not possible without a signed waiver and refunds will not be issued for refusal to complete.
