Come join us at Trapdoor @ UCD for a unique musical experience!

The UCD Gamelan Orchestra is a unique collection of Indonesian percussion instruments from the island of Java. In this concert, the ensemble will perform a wide range of music ranging from the traditional repertoire of Java, to arrangements of Scottish folk music, to original student compositions.

They are joined on this occasion by the UCD Composition Ensemble, an ensemble of music students who have been collaborating together this semester to produce a programme of all their own original compositions, ranging in styles from jazz and funk to classical and avant-garde.
