The Pirate Queen. 

She's back for International Women's day!!!

Last summer Granuailes story was told through yoga, story, bodhran and fiddle at the fleadh cheoil Drogheda.

It was a full house filled with the passion and the resilience Granuaile exuded. Such a spectacular morning to share with so many people, who had a love and appreciation of Granuaile, Irelands legendary Pirate Queen.

This International women's night, all are welcome to this unique yoga, storytelling and live music evening to celebrate one of the most notorious warrior women in Ireland.

Come and soak up a night of Gráinne Ní Mháille, during a 2 hour yin yoga practise with the heart and soul of an Irish warrior women, powerful, beautiful music and an incredible story of bravery.

During this practice you will learn to let go as you bask in the stories of The Pirate Queen to the sound of voice, fiddle and bodhrán.

Your also welcome to come listen and be seated on a chair or wrapped up in blankets and not partake in yoga, should you prefer not to practise but would like to enjoy this special night.

All are welcome to join this celebration of music and yoga fusion.

What is yin yoga?

Yin yoga is the still and passive side of yoga.

The stretching poses as opposed to dynamic, strength and heat activating postures. We hold postures between 3 to 8 minutes. Some postures have a more restful feel and some are a deep stretch into the seat of your body where we can hold burdens and stress in our bodies webbing ( connective tissue). Yin yoga helps us to become for flexible with our emotions and not just our muscles.

*Restorative yoga modifications will be available for pregnant people or anyone in want of a more restorative practise.
