Course Leader Biograpy
Frankie Douglas is Head of Scientific and Regulatory Affairs at Nutritics. She is a public health nutritionist specialising in nutrition related food law. Frankie previously worked as technical executive in public health nutrition for the Food Safety Authority of Ireland and was the primary researcher involved in the development of MenuCal (a calorie calculator and allergen management system designed to support SME food businesses in Ireland). Frankie was the permanent Irish representative on European working groups relating to nutrition and health claims and foods for specific groups. She has extensive experience working in the areas of business development and management within the food industry in Ireland. Frankie’s research publications are in the areas of public health nutrition and nutrition related food law.
