Screenwriter Kellie Jennar will guide you to develop a short film script (approximately 2 to 4 pages) with the objective of shooting yourself or with a team.

Come to the workshop for an idea of your short film, and leave with a finished draft. This is a hands on, interactive workshop. You will also have the opportunity to receive follow-up support and feedback on your writing after the workshop from Kellie.

You will need to bring your own laptop / tablet / paper and pen (whatever you prefer to use to write your screenplay with).

Note: there will be no catering at this workshop

You don’t need specific software to participate in the workshop, but it is strongly recommended.

Final Draft is the industry standard (paid).
There is a free Google Docs extension called Screenplay Formatter.
CELTX and Final Draft both have free trial options.

Please note: any software you choose to use must be installed and operational. Whilst you will be provided with information on screenplay formatting, we will be unable to provide technical support.
