Internationally acclaimed blues/rock artist Owen Campbell returns to the road with a run of intimate acoustic shows, celebrating his first studio release in six years. With three best-selling albums, two EPs, and over a decade of international touring, Owen has firmly cemented his place as one of Australia’s leading alternative blues exports.
After the long silence brought on by Covid lockdowns and raising two young children, a chance meeting with guitarist/producer Brandon Dodd (Kasey Chambers) reignited the spark. What followed was a stripped-back, soul-baring recording session - just Owen and his instruments - capturing the solitude and reflection of the past few years.
What was produced is a 4-track EP that encapsulates both the winter of discontent and the hope of spring.
