Seven Ponds is a 500 acre natural area which is a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Seven Ponds also serves as an environmental education center offering classes and field experiences for the community. Greg Gossick, Oakland Bird Alliance board member, will share what is unique about Seven Ponds during this field trip, including exploring the Tall Grass Prairie.
