Join us for a free demo class at ISME on June 23 from 10:00-10:45am.

Experience a playful, research-based music class where you and your child will sing, move, and explore instruments together in a warm, welcoming environment. 

This class is taught by Jennie Lavine, clarinetist, composer and music teacher.  Classically trained in piano, cello and clarinet from an early age, she primarily performs klezmer and early jazz & blues.  Her bands have been heard in clubs and concert halls in New Orleans, Montreal, Buffalo and New York City, among others.  In Ithaca, you can catch her playing and singing with Lavine and the Flying Machine.  Inspired by the Old World, their music brings fresh tastes of klezmer and Yiddish swing.

This is your chance to connect, learn, and simply enjoy making music as a family. No experience needed.
