You’ll be introduced you to our view of tantra and to the methods we work with at the Kama Tantra Centre. We welcome you into a warm, carefully held space. All exercises take place fully clothed. These day-workshops are an introduction into classical nondualist saiva tantra and into the teachings of Kama Tantra. Day 1 is the ideal starting point for people with no experience of tantra. Step 2 is a more in-depth experience, open to anyone who wishes to explore further. Experience gained in Day 1 or in other contexts may be helpful here. Day 1: Consciousness and Energy Sunday 25 October – 10-18 h This day is dedicated to reconnecting with yourself: with your body and its sensations, with your emotions and your presence. A gentle first step, which stands on its own. From theory to practice: a short, clear framing opens the door to a full day of practice. You connect with your deeper essence. Your inner witness. The deeper strength that gives you stability, even when life is in turmoil. You’ll experience what it feels like to act consciously, from your own awareness and no longer based on old patterns, your upbringing or emotional wounds. Step-by-step guidance lets you move at your own pace. Quiet time is foreseen time for meditation, for silence, and for letting the day settle. You begin to recognise yourself again Day 2: Desires and Boundaries Sunday 15 November – 10-18 h In this workshop we’ll explore engaging with others in a more authentic way, as our true selves. We’ll learn to accept the other person as they are, without projecting our own ideas onto them. From theory to practice: we’ll briefly delve into non-dual Saiva Tantra theory before a full day of practice. You are welcome to embrace your desires and will learn to accept and express them. You will become aware of your boundaries and learn to articulate them. In doing so, you will also engage with the desires and boundaries of others. You will consciously engage with touch, recognising its various intentions and qualities. Desires and boundaries will create the safe space for deeper encounters. About Kama Tantra At Kama Tantra we are passionate about translating ancient tantric wisdom into the challenges of daily life in the 21st century. Our approach is practical and uses tried-and-tested tools such as guided meditations, bioenergetic exercises, experiential and interactive encounters, Betty Martin’s Wheel of Consent and yoga. Our workshops create spaces for experience where people are welcomed in all their diversity – regardless of gender, sexual orientation, relationship status or spiritual background. Our teachers have extensive workshop facilitation experience and have undergone many years of tantric teacher training. About you You’re new to tantra, or want to explore a different taste of tantra, not focused on sexual ecstasy but offering genuine experiences with your own energy and real transformation in your daily life.
