Location: Austin Ratna ShriAbout the TeacherKhenpo Yeshi Rinpoche was born in Nakchu, East Tibet, and began his Dharma training at a young age. He received extensive teachings, empowerments, and transmissions across the Nyingma, Kagyu, and Geluk traditions, including profound Dzogchen instructions and the Longchen Nyingthig lineage.He completed a traditional three-year retreat under the guidance of Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche at Asura Cave in Nepal, and later taught at Ka-Nying Shedrup Ling Monastery and the Rangjung Yeshe Institute, helping to establish advanced curricula in Buddhist philosophy and practice.Alongside his traditional training, Khenpo Rinpoche serves as faculty at the University of California, Berkeley, and is currently a doctoral candidate, completing a dissertation on Dzogchen philosophy.
