Seit über 10 Jahren spielen The Roaring 420s eine wilde Melange aus 60s Psychedelia, Surf und Garage Pop getragen von harmonischen Vocals, vor Reverb triefenden Gitarren und wabernder Orgel. Sie haben ausgiebig in Europa und den USA getourt und die Bühnen mit Acts wie Night Beats, White Fence und besonders The Blank Tapes geteilt. Ihr Debütalbum „What is Psych?“ erschien 2014 auf Stoned Karma Records und hat begeisterte Kritiken eingeheimst. Die Band hat daraufhin ihr eigenes Label It’s a Gas! Records gegründet und ihr zweites Album „You Can’t Get Out Alive“ 2015 veröffentlicht. Neben Beiträgen auf diversen Compilations und Splits - u.a. auf Levitation Records, Melotron Recordings und Celluloid Gurus – wurden Songs auch in Werbespots von GUCCI, New Yorker und Specialized gefeatured. Im September 2025 veröffentlichten sie ihr neuestes Album „We’re all in it together“ auf It’s a Gas! Records und Le Pop Club Records.  

The Birch: Energisch – so lässt sich The Birch am besten beschreiben. Mit treibenden Riffs, kraftvollen Rhythmen und einer psychedelischen Klangwelt schaffen sie eine Atmosphäre purer Ekstase. Mit ihrem Sound entführen die drei Musiker aus Quedlinburg ihr Publikum auf eine spirituelle Reise in längst vergangene Jahrhunderte, ohne sich dabei jedoch dem aktuellen Zeitgeist
zu verschließen, sondern sich ihm bewusst zu stellen. Die seit drei Jahren bestehende Gruppe veröffentlichte im August 2023 ihr Debütalbum „Dazed Dreams“, das seitdem bei ihrer Fangemeinde großen Anklang gefunden hat. Die Band ist eine der neuen Live-Sensationen der Psychedelic-Szene. Daher sind ausverkaufte Clubshows keine Seltenheit.
