Zum ersten Mal machte SCHRAMM auf sich aufmerksam, als er 2022 seine charmant-pointiert betitelte Debüt-EP „I made this for myself (I didn’t make it for you)“ veröffentlichte. The-Strokes-Gitarren und UK-Indie-Rock-Einflüsse, komplettiert durch des Künstlers hinreißenden Humor. Dabei hatte der Fotograf, Filmemacher und ohnehin kreativer Tausendsassa, schon erwogen das Musikmachen zu Gunsten einer Filmproduzenten-Karriere an den berühmten Nagel zu hängen. Zum Glück kam es anders. "Meine Musik ist im weitesten Sinne so was wie Indie Rock. Post-Punk- und Dark-Wave-Elemente, auch mit Drum-Maschinen. Es treibt irgendwie alles nach vorne. Ist teilweise ziemlich düster, aber auch etwas weird. Eher lustig. Aber ich will mich nicht in Schubladen stecken. Ich bin so anders als alle anderen Musiker*innen. So, wie das auch alle anderen Musiker*innen von sich sagen. "Something is smelling funny. SCHRAMM spielt 2026 seine erste Headline-Tour. Nach bisher 2 EPs und Hitsongs wie „I died when you asked me to go out“ und „Beckenrand“ folgt nun ein neues Kapitel, dessen Zeilen SCHRAMM krakelig, aber kursiv in die Gehörgänge seiner Fans kratzen will. Er hofft, dass sich niemand beschwert.
