- **Event Description**: Hallo, liebe Freunde, Ihr habt mich nunmehr über 30 Jahre begleitet, ja auch gefordert und, obwohl ich mich mit der RENFT-Band der letzten Jahre am ehesten wohlfühlte, so muss Renft klingen, gab es schon seit längerer Zeit Unstimmigkeiten.

Auf die will ich hier nicht näher eingehen. So haben wir gemeinsam beschlossen, die Band aufzulösen. Es wird also Renft nicht mehr geben. Das letzte Konzert findet am 25.04.26 in Plauen statt. Doch mein Blick geht nach vorn, ich werde eine neue Band gründen, um mein schon lang gehegtes Projekt "The Soundtrack of my Life" zu verwirklichen, dazu kommen die populärsten Renft-Lieder, sowie meine alt-neuen Songs, die ich im Frühjahr produzieren werde. Also appelliere ich an euch, kommt weiterhin zu meinen Konzerten, denn ihr seid die Grundlage für die Existenz der neuen Band und so bitte ich euch, mich bis zu meinem letzten Atemzug zu begleiten. - Thomas "Monster" Schoppe, 08.02.2026.
