Join us for a full day of country spirit and community connection as two beloved local traditions — the Charity Horse Ride and the Bush Muster — come together as one unforgettable event!
The day begins in Marian Lawns, where riders will saddle up and journey through the breathtaking Pioneer Valley, winding their way toward Dows Creek Hall. Along the way, expect stunning scenery, great company, and plenty of laughter — all in the name of raising awareness for bowel cancer screening and research, and much-needed funds for bowel cancer research and the Mackay Oncology and Renal Units. We will stop for a complimentary cuppa and lovely morning tea in Mirani at the Hall beside the pool then continue on to our lunch stop in the bush. Here you will need some gold coins for a sausage sizzle and softdrinks. At lunch time we will welcome our guest speaker to give a brief chat about bowel cancer and then we will announce the prize winners of most money raised, best dressed and lucky horse prizes.
When the ride ends, the celebrations continue at the Hall with the Bush Muster! Enjoy live music, hearty food, a licensed bar, raffles, kids’ entertainment, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes this community so special.
This is more than just a ride — it’s a day of mateship, memories, and making a difference for our local community and beyond.
