Sign up for one of two time slots:
Morning session: 9:30 – 11:00 am
Afternoon session: 1:00 – 2:30 pm

Did you know that Pawpaw trees are the most northern tropical fruit tree in the world? Yankauer is covered in Pawpaw trees and September is the time to taste this delicious fruit. Join us in singing a Pawpaw song as we hike to the Pawpaw patch where we’ll find and taste some yummy Pawpaws! We’ll discover the fascinating relationship between the pawpaw tree and the zebra swallowtail butterfly, whose caterpillars rely on pawpaw leaves as their host plant.

Each registered child must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. They may have up to two adults and one sibling under two years old accompany them for free and without registering. Siblings above five are not permitted to attend.
