Join us for this point to point hike in the Brandywine Valley, the second in our Brandywine series.
The route of this hike will depend entirely on weather and snow cover. There are three potential routes we will take.
The first route is the alternate to the Brandywine Trail which is heavily Road walking at the North end. This planned hike would be trails and dirt roads with minimal paved road walking.
The second option would be if there is a small amount of snow cover, we will go from the West, and Trace closely. The former New Holland branch of the Pennsylvania Railroad.
Both of these two hikes end at the same location, and we will do them both eventually either way.
The third option is if there is a considerable amount of snow cover, we will do back roads along with the same railroad right of way but further to the north, and well move cars together to another location.
No matter what, this should be a really great day!
We'll cover the normal about 15 miles. If needed, contact me at 908 343 8374
