To the families of the missing men aboard 59563, I want to remind you all about the DPAA FMU’s (Family Meeting Update) that travel across the Country every year.
As a relative of a missing soldier, if you register with the Navy Service Casualty office, before the required deadline for the meeting, they will prepare a case file for your missing and meet with your family, in a 1 on 1 meeting, where you can ask whatever questions you have.
Families that have contacted the Navy SCO and have notified they are next of kin for their missing are recieving invitations to these FMU’s when they are scheduled near them directly from DPAA.
By attending these events, and meeting with the DPAA, you provide PRESSURE to drive our mission further and louder than anyone else can.
I was contacted by a family of one of the missing aboard 59563 and notified they would be attending the Dover Deleware FMU and DPAA is also extending an offer to the families to tour the Armed Forces Identification Laboratory housed on Dover AFB the day before the FMU.
I have added the current FMU schedule
below. If you see one near your area and can attend, you will not regret it.
Help us drive the mission for our missing foward. Noone has a louder voice than the families of the missing.
I have attended 4 FMU’s in the past and will attend San Diego in 2026. I will continue to drive this mission as loud as I can, but I am only 1 man and my soul is getting tired.
If you believe in this mission and the recovery of our missing, this is how you fight for it. This is how you help the cause. Help us if you can.
