Join us for a free, family-friendly event that brings together students, families, educators, and the community to kick off the school year with a powerful message: Kindness Stops Bullying.

This event is part of AutismTN’s bullying prevention efforts and honors the life and legacy of Christopher Miller, a passionate advocate for inclusion known as Captain Spectrum. After his passing in 2021, AutismTN partnered with the Miller family to create the Captain Spectrum Be Kind Scholarship, which supports post-secondary education for autistic students who lead with kindness, stand against bullying, and build inclusive communities.
What to Expect:
Inspiring speakers sharing personal stories, legacy of the Captain Spectrum scholarship, and tools to combat bullying
Resource booths featuring local school programs and community partners
Free food (first come, first serve), sensory activities, and limited school supplies
Please Note: We are unable to accommodate food allergens
Meet & connect with Unfringed Social Club and Bikers Against Bullies, who will be present to support families and share their mission
Registration Required
Families must register in advance using the Registration Form under Tickets. Please click on the ticket link above. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. All attendees will also complete a simple sign-in upon arrival.
