Piscataquis County Soil and Water Conservation District (PCSWCD) offers an annual Tree and Plant Sale, which features an impressive selection of organic vegetable seedlings, organic annual and perennial flowers, fruits, flowering shrubs, fruit trees, forest trees, homesteading goods and more! The benefits of ordering from PCSWCD’s Tree and Plant sale are numerous and include supporting District educational programming, support for local farms and businesses (our plant sources), planting native plants that attract wildlife and pollinators, growing your own food, becoming more self-sufficient, reducing invasive plants and pests, and adding beauty to your property. The plants we sell are hardy, nicely-sized and ready to make an impression. If that wasn’t enough to entice you, when you order from this sale, we do all the work of selecting, packaging and preparing your plants and trees for you - all you have to do is pick them up on May 15th. It’s so easy! 

PCSWCD’s Tree and Plant Sale online ordering system is now open until April 30th. You can access the sale catalog and order system on our website www.piscataquisswcd.org. For folks who need planting suggestions and plant descriptions, we put together our Tree & Plant Planning Guide, which can be found linked on the Tree & Plant Sale page. Start there, make a list of what you want and need and then head on over to piscataquisswcd.org/tree-and-plant-sale/ to place your order! The sale showcases beautiful, healthy plants from Checkerberry Farm, Ripley Farm, North Branch Farm, Marr Pond Farm, Helios Horsepower Farm and Ellis Greenhouse & Nursery. Additionally, we are working with ER Palmer Lumber to offer ramial wood chips, which are the ideal soil implement and mulch for fruit trees and shrubs. New products offered in 2026 include asparagus, strawberries, forest trees and several favorite annual flowers including petunias! Our prices are extremely competitive and all proceeds from this sale support local farms and businesses! 

Pick up for all orders is on May 15th at the Law Farm Nature Trails, Dover-Foxcroft, ME. When you check out, you will select a pick-up time slot. We encourage you to take a moment and browse our online sale, which can be found at our website www.piscataquisswcd.org. We are confident you will be impressed by what we are offering!
