Winner of four Olivier Awards, including Best New Musical, and the Tony Award for Best Direction of a Musical, Come From Away is the smash-hit musical based on the incredible true story of a 7000 airline passengers from around the world who were unexpectedly grounded in Canada in the wake of 9/11, and the small Newfoundland town that welcomed them with open hearts.
Set in Gander, Newfoundland, the show tells the real-life stories of the locals who opened the homes, community halls, and lives to these "come from aways", forging friendships that would last a lifetime. Told with warmth, humour, and compassion, Come From Away celebrates the very best of humanity at a moment when the world needed it most.
