Join us for the Queensland Decarbonisation Hub’s second statewide Forum, bringing together researchers, policymakers, industry, and the community to explore the future of Queensland’s transition to net zero.
Over two days, we will share emerging insights from the Hub’s work program, highlight opportunities for collaboration, and create space for dialogue around the state’s decarbonisation challenges and opportunities. The program will feature keynote speakers, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities.
Day 1 (Wednesday 5 November) will open with a keynote on Indigenous and regional perspectives in decarbonisation. Sessions will explore key themes shaping Queensland’s transition, and the day will close with an interactive session and an evening networking event.
Day 2 (Thursday 6 November) will focus on the Hub’s current research program and look ahead to its future directions in 2026 and beyond. Participants will engage in interactive sessions designed to shape how the Hub can best support Queensland’s net-zero ambitions, drawing on the latest innovations and evidence-informed policy-making.
Whether you are directly involved in research, working in government or industry, or part of a community navigating the transition to net zero, this Forum is an opportunity to connect, contribute, and help set the direction for an inclusive decarbonisation journey in Queensland.
More detailed information on the program for the forum will be released in the next month.
