Mahjong Collective is coming to Dothan! 💙🀄️

Join us for an intimate two-day American Mahjong Strategy Retreat created for intermediate and advanced players who are ready to sharpen their strategy, make more confident decisions, and elevate their game.

We’ll spend two fun-filled days learning, playing, rotating tables, competing in mini rounds, winning prizes and connecting with other Mahjong players.

Come with friends or come solo! Our retreats are designed to make it easy to meet new players and leave with new Mahjong friends.

BYOB and join us for a relaxed afternoon of Mahjong, new friends, prizes and plenty of fun as we kick off the retreat!

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23 | 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
Reading the Table + Defensive Play + Scored Rounds

Learn to better read the table, recognize what your opponents may be building, make smarter defensive decisions and put those strategies into practice through structured play and table rotations.

12:00–2:00 PM | Lunch Break

2:00–5:00 PM | Advanced Strategy + Mini Tournament

We’ll bring it all together with advanced strategy, tournament-style scored play, friendly competition and plenty of prizes!

👤 WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This retreat is designed for intermediate and advanced American Mahjong players who already understand the fundamentals, can read the NMJL card and are comfortable moving through gameplay independently.

This is not a beginner instructional event.

We teach and play according to National Mah Jongg League rules using the 2026 NMJL Card. Please bring your card; all other gameplay equipment will be provided.

$495 per person

Space is intentionally limited to keep the experience personal, interactive and strategy-focused.

Your seat is confirmed once your registration form and payment have been received.

Registrations are non-refundable but may be transferred to another eligible player.
