Childbirth and Newborn Care

Congratulations on your pregnancy and upcoming birth of your baby! At Flowers Hospital, we are excited to be a part of welcoming the new addition to your family. Join us for a free class to learn more about the childbirth and postpartum experience at our hospital and to learn what to expect when you go home. This class includes:

• Introduction to childbirth – Process and stages of labor, methods of delivery, pain control and comfort strategies
• Questions and answers with a local pediatrician
• Caring for a newborn including feeding, safe sleep habits, swaddling, safety, follow up care after hospital discharge and more
• Tour of our Center for Women and Children – Labor and delivery, nursery, postpartum unit)

Our class meets in Classroom 1 in the Doctors Center building at Flowers Hospital. The classroom is located on the 4th floor of the North Tower of the Doctors Center building. Please use the elevators to the right when entering the Doctors Center lobby.
