Die in Los Angeles ansässige Band besteht aus Sänger Jules Galli, Gitarrist und Produzent Trev Lukather sowie Schlagzeuger Josh Devine.

Der in Frankreich geborene Jules Galli hat sich seinen Ruf durch unermüdliche Tourneen erarbeitet, inklusive seiner Zeit als Backgroundsänger für Jane’s Addiction.

Trev Lukather, Sohn der Toto-Gitarrenlegende Steve Lukather, hat für Künstler wie Halestorm, Billy Corgan und Dorothy geschrieben und produziert und war Mitbegründer der Band The Effect – zusammen mit dem Schlagzeuger Nic Collins. Josh Devine, bekannt als langjähriger Schlagzeuger von One Direction, zog von Großbritannien nach Los Angeles, wo seine Chemie mit Jules und Trev zum Rückgrat des Sounds von LEVARA wurde.

2019 war LEVARA europaweit als Vorband von Toto unterwegs, was zu einem Vertrag mit Mascot Records und der Veröffentlichung ihres selbstbetitelten Debütalbums im Jahr 2021 führte.

COVID und interne Schwierigkeiten brachten das Projekt jedoch abrupt zum Stillstand. Fünf Jahre später begannen Jules und Trev still und leise wieder gemeinsam zu schreiben, Josh kehrte ans Schlagzeug zurück, und die Verbindung entflammte sofort wieder.

Im Mai 2026 veröffentlicht die Band drei bisher unveröffentlichte Songs aus den ursprünglichen Debüt-Sessions, mit Hintergrundgesang von Steve Perry von Journey und David Paich von Toto am Klavier.

Im Laufe des Jahres wird weitere neue Musik folgen, ebenso eine Europa Tour im Herbst 2026.
