Nach ihrer Jugend in Kuba zog sie 2000 nach Spanien und startete von dort aus ihre weltweite Karriere. Ihre Songs verbinden Rock, Funk, Electro und Afro-Blues mit saharauischen Klängen und erzählen von Heimat, Widerstand und Hoffnung. 2024 erreichte ihr Album „Mawja“ die Spitze der europäischen Weltmusik-Charts. Live vereint ihr Ensemble die Seele ihrer Heimat mit Jazz Energie.
